All prices are in Canadian dollars, and are subject to 5% federal goods and services tax (GST). If you wish to pay in a currency other than what your trip is quoted in, please inquire for a quote in your preferred currency.
We accept cash, email transfer (Canadian banks only), money orders and credit card payments via Paypal. Personal cheques will be accepted only if they are received at least 45 days in advance of the trip start date.
A deposit of 25% of the total trip price is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation, with the final payment due 45 days prior to your trip start date.
For bookings made less than 45 days in advance, full payment is due upon booking.
If you wish to cancel your trip for any reason, the following penalties apply:
More than 60 days before trip start date: full refund
60-30 days prior to trip start date: full refund minus the 25% deposit
Less than 30 days prior to trip start date: no refund
Should you wish to transfer your registration to someone else, substitutions are permitted provided they meet all the requirements of the program. All cancellations must be received in writing (email accepted). If your trip is interrupted due to an injury, illness, family emergency, etc, you will not be refunded. Please see below for information regarding travel, medical and trip cancellation insurance.
In the unlikely event that Stenberg Guides must cancel a program for any reason, payment will be refunded in full. If we need to cancel a trip after the trip start date, a full refund for the unused portion of the trip will be provided.
It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance, medical insurance, and trip cancellation insurance to protect you in the event of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. We also advise that you ensure your chosen medical insurance provider covers the cost of emergency rescue and evacuation. In the unlikely event of an emergency in the field, participants will be responsible for all costs associated with a rescue, including the use of helicopters, ambulances and hospitals/clinics, which can all be quite expensive, particularly if you are not a Canadian citizen.
All participants are required to sign a Release of Liability, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement prior to the start of the program. By signing this agreement, you waive certain legal rights. Refusal to sign this waiver will result in the cancellation of your package or program with no refund. The waiver will be made available for signing in person at the start of your program; however, we ask that you spend time reviewing the waiver in advance by clicking on the appropriate link below.

To maximize everyone’s safety, all participants are required to complete our Registration Form, which includes medical information, and submit it with their deposit at the time of booking. Should we question your ability to safely complete the program, or should we feel that your condition may compromise the safety of others, you may not be allowed to participate, in which case we will not process your payment.
