This trip is all about going above and beyond! The burly MS Origo serves as our home and chariot, carrying us through icy waters to the remote coast of Svalbard where we explore this wild and largely untouched region accessible only by boat. Ice, wind and weather dictate where we go and what we ski, but with small groups and highly experienced guides, the possibilities are endless.
We will enjoy breakfast aboard the ship each morning before loading into zodiacs and heading ashore for the day’s expedition. The mountains in northern Svalbard consist of hundreds of peaks that rise dramatically from sea level to upwards of 3,000 feet, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your Arctic adventure. Throughout the day, you will venture into parts virtually unknown, enjoying picnic lunches in the sun and scanning for signs of wildlife such as walrus or even polar bears. Each evening, you will return to the MS Origo for a soak in the deck-top hot tub and après ski in the lounge before dinner. Sail. Ski. Soak. Repeat.
